In 2014, after losing a young patient to a massive heart attack due to delayed diagnosis, Dr. Manjunath started collecting demographic data of villages and towns with poor cardiac care access.

Building a Cardiac Disease Free Society by Helping the Underprivileged
CAD team achieved its historical mark of 325 ECG machine installations across 23 districts of Karnataka — an unbelievable achievement built through a journey of ECG awareness programs and installations at 325 primary health centres and local government hospitals. We are the change makers of 2021, with more than 325 installations across 23 districts in Karnataka and a network of 2500+ doctors in a Pan-India project.
Cardiology at Doorsteps (CAD) has been at the forefront of the tele-cardiology segment, especially in rural India. We thank everyone who made it happen despite the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, one of the hardest years for the healthcare industry.
Vision
To build a cardiac disease free society through early diagnosis, awareness and timely support for every community.
Mission
To provide ECG machines, practical training and a strong doctor network to rural health centres, helping cardiac care reach people faster.

Our Activities
We at Cardiology at
Doorsteps Foundation (CAD), established in 2018, dream of building a cardiac disease-free society
by
helping those in need through the installation of ECG machines in rural areas and Primary Health Centres
(PHCs).
Distribution of ECG Machines
Distribution of ECG Machines helps people from rural area in getting quick access to health care at Primary Health Centres. It helps the Primary Health Care Centre doctors to find the exact reason and early detection of heart diseases. It also helps village residents for routine checkups.
Training
CAD Team would like to conduct ECG training And First Aid Training Programs to students in schools & Universities. These training programs also help in giving training to the doctors & nurses in remote places. We provide awareness program to the students & other general public in the village.
Camps
ECG Machines helps the NGO's & other Social Service organizations to conduct the ECG Check up and other medical Check up camps in rural & urban areas.
Distribution of Injection
Bolus thrombolytic (clot buster for herat attack) is launched by Cardiology at Doorsteps Foundation without any feanfare. These injections are distributed in Primary Health Centers in rural areas.

Milestones and timeline of Cardiology at Doorsteps Foundation
How this "mission impossible" crusade against CAD was achieved
Collected data on villages, towns, nearest hospitals and PHCs, mapping difficulties specific to each geographic location to understand the last-mile cardiac care gaps.
Started maintaining a comprehensive database of all doctors — including AYUSH and Ayurvedic practitioners — in rural areas, recognising them as vital frontline forces.
Gave talks, participated in CMEs in rural areas and built rapport with doctors across all systems of medicine, fostering collaboration to strengthen cardiac care at the grassroots.
Feb 2018 — Formed a WhatsApp group of vital rural doctors. Educated them through a digital platform and conducted a landmark workshop called Anveshana, which was a grand success.
Discovered LinkedIn through Anup Soans after conducting the first-ever conference of Medical Reps — opening the window for a broader foray into the external world of healthcare advocacy.
Simultaneously collaborated with Dr. Manish Rai to establish the Saviour Group — a complementary initiative working in parallel to extend the reach of cardiac care to more communities.
As of now, 25 dedicated ECG machines have been deployed to health centres in remote areas — giving rural patients access to life-saving cardiac diagnostics close to home.
